Preston Hill

Climb up 526m to bag Preston Hill in The Cheviots.

Now we're getting into some bigger hills and Preston Hill is a decent one at 526m high. Sitting next to its pal Broadhope Hill, these two hills are great climbs as you explore the west of the Northumberland National Park.

From the parking Langleeford, simply head north east onto Broadhope Hill and then follow the track and fence line up onto Preston Hill.

You are even rewarded with a little boundary stone when you get to the top!

Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps. Just over 4km and 411m ascent to get to the top.

To bag more hills, or just to extend your jaunt you can bag Preston Hill and others on this hike up the Cheviot and Hedgehope Hill.
